City of Moore Bail Bonds

MooreThe City of Moore does not operate a jail, and all of their detainees are held at the Cleveland County Jail, at 2550 West Franklin Rd. in Norman, Oklahoma.

To complete the bail  bond application and paperwork we will usually meet with you in the lobby of the Moore Police Department building, at 117 East Main St. in Moore. This is directly east of the City of Moore Municipal Court, which sits on the northeast corner of Broadway Ave. and East Main in downtown Moore, and is connected by a shared hallway. After completion, the bond must be presented there in Moore to an officer or clerk where it is transmitted electronically to secure the release of the defendant, who will usually be released at the Cleveland County Jail. This can be done after hours and on weekends and holidays. Currently, most detainees are released the next business day morning without bail.

"Walk-throughs" are also possible for charges in Moore, and can be completed during normal business hours at the Moore Court Clerk's office, down the hall from the Police Department. There is no booking process required, with the bond, or bonds, presented directly to the court clerk after they are signed by the defendant. At that time a court date will be given for a first appearance. For convenience, the bail bond application and paperwork can be completed in the lobby.
